Our hopes and hearts are with the Ukrainian people as they fight for democracy. Make no mistake that is what this war is about. Not only does Putin have imperialistic Russian dreams of expanding the Russian empire, but more importantly he is intent on destroying democracy around the world. I promise to write more supporting this premise in the near future. Thanks to the leadership of both President Biden and NATO, Putin is becoming more and more isolated and global rejection of his invasion of a sovereign nation for no legal reason is spreading. Right now we just want to provide whatever support we can to the Ukrainian people.
Putin’s war, killing his own people, children, families is so incredibly sad. We should be beyond the wars of bullies & power hungry dictators. Putin has learned nothing about the gift of life & the right to live it in a healthy, peaceful environment.
The photos of the families huddled together in shelters was so sad & unsettling. Putin cares about $$$$ & power. The only relief is that Trump is not president now & we have a sane president in office.
Exactly! When President Biden led the West to become united against Russia, (there is no question but that his leadership was essential for this), why are his polls so low when people say the sanctions are right, we’re doing the right thing and he’s the one who organized it all? Wouldn’t it be nice if we could become as united behind Biden as the Ukrainians are behind Zelensky. Imagine what could actually get done in Washington!
