EMERGENCY: 1 Brief Action, Please

Please contact your Representative to vote AGAINST the 2025 Budget Bill,  H.Con.Res.14 – 119th Congress (2025-2026): Establishing the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2025.

The Trump administration budget and policies will kill people unnecessarily. This is NOT some crazy conspiracy theory or hyperbole. It’s a result of cutting programs considered part of our social safety net, which began during the Great Depression, and have continued with modifications since then as income inequality has grown, particularly in recent years.

Of course, you all know about Trump’s Incredibly Cruel to 99% of us and Billionaire 1% Gift Budget Bill. It establishes the congressional budget for the US Government for fiscal year 2025 and sets forth budgetary levels for fiscal years 2026 through 2034. So it’s back to the House, as it needs both House and Senate approval of the same, exact bill, and what the Senate passed is not the same as what passed the House earlier.

If you have a Republican Representative, PLEASE contact him/her immediately with your plea to vote against this bill. This administration and its minions on the Supreme Court, other courts, and the Republican led Senate and House of Representatives do not care about their oaths to uphold the Constitution, the people of this country, nor the vulnerable in the world. Their only concern appears to be how much wealth they can collect for themselves.
